Our RAM remote start kits install and function just like trucks manufactured with this option (option code GPX). Our kits incorporate the hood sensor safety latch and follow the same clean wire routing. This avoids permanent modification and splicing into your factory wiring unlike aftermarket kits requiring add-on devices. Also, unlike the after factory Mopar kit, ours doesn’t require removal and re-installation of your truck’s interior to replace the RF Hub either. Granted, the refurbished 5 button OEM key fob that avoids the extra labor of replacing the RF Hub will require programming by a professional locksmith, or capable local hardware store. Your remote start Kit will contain an integration wiring assembly, replacement hood latch with sensor, and one refurbished OEM 5 button remote key fob that adds the remote start and tailgate release buttons to your familiar fob layout. Printed Installation instructions will also be provided. A discounted second key fob and emergency key can be added to your order at time of purchase only.
